Living in Toronto continues to be a dream come true.

I was able to attend my second WWE event of 2018 this past Friday, after seeing NXT Live in February in Mississauga (pronounced Miss-iss-au-goo-ahh, according to Velveteen Dream).

This time around, the Raw Brand brought their best superstars to Ricoh Coliseum for a showdown.

Showing off my new WWE shirt from superstar Elias.

From top to bottom this card was stacked. Highly entertaining from the minute Elias strummed his guitar right up until Roman Reigns hit a massive spear to The Miz for the three count.

A lot of fan favourites were in attendance including Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Asuka, Braun Strowman, Matt Hardy and so many more.

Nobody’s ready for Asuka.

The one fan favourite that I was surprised Toronto was not a fan of was Bayley. Usually, she will get the biggest, positive response from crowds across the globe. But in Toronto? They’re not down with the hugger life. Doing her usual entrance with the “Wacky Inflatable Tube Men,” the Toronto crowd were having none of her.

Toronto has been touted as “Bizzaro World” on more than one occasion by WWE commentary on live TV. That mostly comes from the fact that a lot of fans are super passionate about the product that WWE brings and will “boo” and “cheer” who they please. Which in all honesty is great, because getting any sort of crowd reaction makes for a fun show. It’s easy to get sucked into a show in front of you when everyone around you is engaged with what’s going on.

By far my favourite picture of the night. Finn Balor looking like a star as always.

The main event of the evening featured Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor tagging up to face The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel (known collectively as The Miztourage) in a Six-Man Tag Team match.

The good guys won the match to send the crowd home happy. Seth Rollins hit his patented “Curb Stomp,” Finn Balor flew off the top rope with a “Coup de Grâce,” and Roman Reigns hit his finisher the Spear for the final three count of the night.

The trio posed for the crowd after the match and went out to the front row to grab selfies with those lucky fans.

Overall, WWE put on an amazing show for the fans in attendance, and I love being able to attend these special events in Toronto.
